It does look tidy, decent MK3 metal.

Drums are OK if well maintained. Are you changing the Master cylinder and rear compensator valve too? Are you fitting a servo?

Un servoed S brakes do not fill you with confidence either

Well, K's got the day off work today and has been working on her! I am informed that the brakes are all built up and complete now!

Next time it is up in the air give the front subframe brake pipe a run with some wire wool and coat it with waxoil as it is appears to be showing early signs of corrosion.

Yeah, think you might be right!! K spotted it when she was up in the air ... not entirely sure what's going on there!

Mind you - I think the bushes have worn slightly on the tie-bars anyways, so will be taking a closer look at that when I can - I have some more here that I can swap with, if it is!!

Thanks! - Yeah - My old mini had them. I'm sure they would be alright with a decent service, but I want something a bit more practical for motorways, too - Especially considering the amount of idiots out there!





Well - My order arrived last night!!

Might just make it to the MOT tomorrow!! - It all depends on what E_E has been forced asked nicely to do, today, whilst I've been at work!
