It does look tidy, decent MK3 metal.

Drums are OK if well maintained. Are you changing the Master cylinder and rear compensator valve too? Are you fitting a servo?

Un servoed S brakes do not fill you with confidence either

Hmmmm - It's a good point, thanks. I shall raise this with K - I'm sure we can sort something out! :)

Hey.. another Mk3 back on the road!!! Brilliant, it looks very smart considering it's been sitting a while.

Thanks! :P I guess you don't see many MK3's around nowadays! :)

Nice work there bean

Thank you!!

Very nice Jean!

Cheers, Craig! ;)

Well, K's got the day off work today and has been working on her! I am informed that the brakes are all built up and complete now! :D

Hmmm ... I wonder - MOT soon? :)

Still not arrived - Not best pleased. It's only a few split pins - I don't see how it can take quite this long to send something so small out.

MOT Cancelled :P

Next time it is up in the air give the front subframe brake pipe a run with some wire wool and coat it with waxoil as it is appears to be showing early signs of corrosion.

Stitch in time and all that :))

It might just be me, but that front tie bar also might be a bit bent.

Mmmm, I think you might be right!! I will have a check over when I get back from work! Thank you kindly! :)

Yeah, think you might be right!! K spotted it when she was up in the air ... not entirely sure what's going on there! :ermm:

Mind you - I think the bushes have worn slightly on the tie-bars anyways, so will be taking a closer look at that when I can - I have some more here that I can swap with, if it is!! :)

Thanks, Karl! :)

I have spoken to Simon from Minispares, who has been very helpful! :)

I have got the despatch email, so fingers crossed, they'll be on my doorstep when I get home? :)

Managed to get the MOT rearrangedfor Thursday, which isn't too bad!!

Looking good. Not surprised you got rid of the drums. I have them on my car that I use everyday. Sometimes they work. Sometimes they dont.

Aw, thank you!!!

But Lily looks utterly gorgeous all the time!

Thanks! :) - Yeah - My old mini had them. I'm sure they would be alright with a decent service, but I want something a bit more practical for motorways, too - Especially considering the amount of idiots out there!

Well - My order arrived last night!! :D

Might just make it to the MOT tomorrow!! :o - It all depends on what E_E has been forced asked nicely to do, today, whilst I've been at work!

:P
