we are still waiting for Chris to deliver our kit, but thanks to R1mini we do have some metro 4pots for the front.
Now we are looking for the fueling of the hayabusa. What tipe of pump would you recomend? Is there any car we could take the pump out of it? Here in Spain we have huge scrapyards and pieces are resonable priced.
Any special reocmendations for the fueling circuit?
Thanks,
Group N-10

Any special reocmendations for the fueling circuit?
Hi Guys
I am afraid I cant help you with what type of pump to use as I only have experience with the VTEC system.
Here are a couple of examples of fuelling circuits, both tell roughly the same story, note the placement of filters in the Alpha diagram, also to note in this diagram the part about whether to connect to the FPR to the intake manifold could be for that particular fuel pressure regulator. I hope they are of some help to you.

We would like to report some news as there have been a couple.
First of all our kit arrived which is the main progress. We do also have our B-king engine and our front hubs and 4pots. Pictures should show all we've done:
The engine is almost 100% complete so should not be a big deal to get it to work inside the mini
See you soon,

It's nice to watch a progress.
Can you tell me something about differential? Its a special kit or it comes from other car?

Those are the best candidates for gearshift. Which one do you prefer?
There we have the coilovers presented however we had some problems with them, we couldn't fit the front suspension:
That's why we have to make them again resizing them.
By the way we are still fixing the bodywork of the mini with a special paste:
You know every advice is very welcome in our project! we're willing to read them!
Thank you,

Hi Guys!
Great project! Wish our project came along that quickly (Dutch Mini GSXR1000)! You mentioned you were fixing the body work of the mini with a special paste. Then I noticed there was little space left between the body work and the Mini Lite wheels in the pictures in the earlier post. We now have the same problem: the wheels are touching the rear fenders, so we need to change our rear fenders while they were already beautifully painted! So while you still have the chance, have a careful look to be sure to have enough clearance! Now, you are still able to adjust without having to damage the paint. And in the end, the fender itself will cover the cut you made, so it will not influence the looks of your car (if you keep within boundaries ofcourse!).
Keep up the good work!
Cheers

your project looks much better than ours! We still have lots to do! Thank you for the comment, we will keep that in mind. Actually had planned to get the hole car running before any painting. This way we will avoid to do any modifications when the car is painted.
Next steps will be:
finish rh driveshaft
fit sprockets and chain
fit Brake pump and finish circuit
clutch pipe and stop
gear change system
wirirng extention
We are not in a rush, but we will have to have the car finished for February.
Thank you lots,

We have some drawings with the colors and logos we are still thinking of, hopefully we will be upload those soon.
Milten: The diff is the standart one supplyied by Z-cars. Any details, just ask them, there are always very nice!
The RH driveshaft is done but still haven't fitted.
We finally got the front engine mounts and should be 5 min to fit.
As we had some problems with the b-king dash and can't afford a fancy digidash, we are looking deep into it. Hopefully we will be able to sort this issue out.
Aitor is our bodywork and design pro who is fixing all the little details and lloking into the painting
Gonzo is looking into building an interface to manage the ECU with a free open Software (ECUeditor), aswell as trying to repair the b-king dash
Borja is fitting the expansion tank
Nico is working on the braking system
Domingo is fitting the sprockets and finishing the cooling system
Comas is working on the fuel system
Kike and Jorge are working on the wiring loom extending the original bike switches to fix them into a position we can reach any time.
Pablo came to the idea of using the bike clutch master cylinder with some modifications.... photos will be uploaded soon.
We just wanted to add some more information about the next updates and here are some ideas we are struggling with.
As we can not afford some nice big front brakes, we'll be starting with the metro 4pots. We had a split circuit yellow tag master cylinder on the car but Chris recommended us to fit a servo and some nice pads to improve the braking. So here we go: What type of servo should be best? Should we fit a remote servo only on the front brake circuit or should we go for a 90´s mini servo + pedals, etc.
What pads would you recommend? Keep in mind our low budget please!
We hope to get some advice from you!!!
Thank you lots,
Group N-10
