Ok so the mini went down to slark engineering today, could not rate the guy higher absolute top job. Found that piston number two was looking 40% compression through the valves mostly. so he will be building me a reconditioned unleaded mg metro style head maybe ported if funds allow and larger inlet valves.

In the meantime things that need to be done

Window sills need to be fitted
Dash finished and sound system wired up
Megajolt parts source

Ok finally a worthwhile update

Few things came in the post today

Megajolt unit (map type), sensor bracket, crank position sensor, crank pulley attachment with teeth, wiring and appropriate cables/wires

All that's left to get now is a distributor banking plug and ht lead conversion thingys.

Yes it is, was supplied by slark race engineering not sure where they source them from but there a few on the net if you Google it

This is one lovely mini! Makes me want a smooth boot lid, I did prefer the look of the twins wither side of your reg plate though

Small update

Working on the megajolt still

The distributor banking plug arrived



Mounted the crank position sensor



Bracket for the coilpack made, using the old coil bracket and some sheet ally





This is where I'm gonna place the megajolt unit inside the car behind the dash
