What I've been tempted to do in the past is run a coil of cooper pipe through the washer bottle and connect it to the heater pipes, that way you should get heated washer water  :cheese:

Done already by volvo, more or less free from the scrappy on 440's and other models. Have one in another car, (not a mini). they are amazing. Not that we ever need them down here :( They are electric.

Really :( Thats great, need to go to a scrappers soon for my GF.

I find the quality of GF's at the scappers leaves a lot to be desired. I would recommed a mini meet or a club? :(

When I lived in a very cold place once, a mate had a 440 and it just washed the ice off the screen. Awsome!

the idea of de-icer in the windscreen washing fluid is just retarded, because as soon as you turn the fluid on the windscreen wipers start and the windscreen will still be frozen. a few times of this equals split windscreen wipers and a trip to mini spares or halfrauds. tut tut jammy i thought better of you.

Yeah i go scrappers for my GF, i find them very cheap and at times they do not have many previous owners. Its becoming dificult now though.

I may go and look for some 440's then. :(

(also im after a fuse box cover for my GF's car)

aha ive got a comeback, but your jets wouldnt cover the whole windscreen so you would still be hitting frozen bits when you put the wipers on, so what you say to that, eh?
