had a few things finished today as u can see from the pitures

gettin there mate! welding still needs abit more practice though, but i suppose the rear seat base over hang isnt too important lol other than that looking good! how long do you think till its finished?

also, why have you welded up the gear selector hole? u going for internal gear change?

ive just started tracking this project, just to see how many times your mate ends up in A&E haha

lol he not been there as yet and yeah i do so badly need a 1275 engine with box and ancilaries etc . welding does need a bit of tydying up i know but it wasnt that important at the time . i havent got a clue when it will be finished i just put an order in for complete new brakes as in discs and pads all new gaitors ball joint and few other bits an peices like window seals etc so when they get here should be moving quite fast . cheers for comments guys andbody got some clubby indicators handy as i didnt think we needed them when removing them and i was a bit violent getting the off lmao

oh and the gear selector hole will be cut out but when we first got the car everything was moved backwards 4-5 inches including hand brake gear selector hole and seats

clubman indicators dont come cheap, second hand ones in good condition are to come by, as the aluminium? monkey metal? its made from rots and they fall to bits, brand new ones are also expensive, so best bet would try ebay, or look arond some shows for them, might be lucky!, either that or convert it to the standard mini type mini indicators, and get some new headlights with the side lights in them, and rewire the side lights into them (clubmans have the side lights in the indicators)

you can get new indicator/sidelights from somerford minis online, about £50, and there are loads on ebay. good work mate, you have got right stuck in there!

thanks yeah i just been trying to save as many pennies as possible cause i didnt really need to brake them getting them off before . and cheers ZED its a bit of a mish i know but if i was going to do it i was going to do it preperly lol cheers guys
