nah not for fiberglass, just as a rusty bonnet,

ive got my red one, a beano one and im just keeping an eye out for a rusty one, i dont want to make a good one rusty for no reason you see
if you do decide its in your way and you want to get rid, pm me

just looked through all 5 pages, keep at it your nearly there once the paint is on you will really feel a big achievement .
i have just started a resto on my Mini so miles off from where your at lol.

p.s. those seats are just after market seats that could be bought from places like demon tweeks years ago there not really worth a lot but look in decent condition so get them cleaned up and you be nice and comfy on your clubby cruises lol

thanks for all the replys . the bonnet has a few holes on quite major places .

cheers for comment on progress it is taking its time got the few niggles out of the bodywork time for second coay of primer and top coat and laquer as soon as possible. then be on with the build. the seats we have decided to retrim the same as the back with grey cloth in the middle and black leather on the outside but we will see lol .

bit of colour tested on boot lid will look nice when done i think





first coat of respray tommorow to all the shell and doors etc . will get some pictures up then fingers crossed she will look ok
