No ones been waving or flashing back recently, instead return a confused expression, and once "evils". Just double checking that waving and flashing is still going on, and that i wont be carted off for doing it.

Only had 1 person who hasn't waved, that was because the genuinely didn't see me. Always wave :) keep getting beeped by I'm guessing mini drivers in other cars. Does get a little worrying sometime! :)

You'll get a wave and/or a flash of the lights from me.

I always wave at other Mini owners but sometimes I don't get a wave back. Some people aren't Mini enthusiasts they just see it as another car to run about in so might not know about waving at other owners.

Come to Oz. Minis are so rare here, now, that we almost throw a party when we see another one on the road!

Just checked on google and yes people are still waving :)

Most wait to be waved at first, so just keep waving like a nutter! :)

I've had a few non-wavers, the drivers looked like they were driving a Mini against their will :) I saw one a while ago, the guy driving was in a suit and he looked downright depressed. I suppose only the enthusiasts wave back.

I sometimes forget im in the golf and flash at minis. bet they think i'm just being a prat.
stroker and i were having a sunday drive last weekend and we saw a MINT white mini coming towards us so we were flashing and waving, turned out to be some granny easily 90 years old who didn't appear to be even holding the wheel. proper time warp mini. she didn't even blink.
about 30 seconds later a two tone black and red mini came along and flashed us, so you've just gonna play the odds and watch out for the old people!

WHat?! The waving and smiling and flashing of lights (if safe to do so, obviously!!) when mini drivers pass/spot each other is ESSENTIAL and must not stop! - I'm relieved to say that Bristol mini drivers appear to still be doing this, and long may it continue.

Perhaps we all need to increase the level of lunacy behind the wave so that if other mini drivers don't realise, they soon get the idea and DO realise.

No one who is grumpy should be driving a mini, and it's in the contract that you must acknowledge other mini drivers! It's a big part of the fun :)
