I'll put my hands up (no thread pun intended!) once me and another TMF'er here were out in our minis and a BMW MINI was going the other way and he waved liked mad, but we both blanked him :) was classic watching his expression after, not bini bashing here, plenty of topics here for that :) I have waved back at a bini, only because she was nice :)

I wave, but get funny looks as I'm in a transit !

I wave/flash lights/thumbs up on my bike aswell, they probably think I know them or something....must get some mini stickers.....

All fun :D

Lately i have noticed this, i have even been tail gated by a classic mini which i though was just trying to get noticed by me but just turned out to be rude and in a rush! hopefully this isnt dying out, just makes owning a mini that little bit more fun!

i can understand people not doing it at shows as there are hundreds of the little things but going along normally, send a wave, give a little flash ( Your sick!) and enjoy the awesomeness of each others cars!

No ones been waving or flashing back recently, instead return a confused expression, and once "evils". Just double checking that waving and flashing is still going on, and that i wont be carted off for doing it.

Come to Oz. Minis are so rare here, now, that we almost throw a party when we see another one on the road!

Know what you mean mate,it's the same with trikes. When you see one you scream"n"shout and wave your feet in the air.

Me and my other half always wave and flash minis, even though we are driving non-mini cars (I havent found my perfect mini yet and his is broken in the garage)! My fella has a habbit of chasing them down just to make sure that they know we have waved/flashed them!! I wouldnt be suprised if some people get very worried and confused why a random car is chasing them flashing their lights loads, lol. It will make a lot more sense to other mini drivers when I am driving in a mini.

But yes, the flashing and waving should NEVER end!! It is a big part of being a mini owner and should not be taken away from us. :P

Once a bini waved at me an I waved back, sorry it was a mistake it wont happen again!

I rarely drive my mini (shame but it's true) and there arn't many minis around where I live so if I do see one I am quite happy to wave, I did see an MPI on the M6 about 2 months ago and girl driving blanked me!
