Every time you wave/flash to L343 OAH (Blue sprite) you will get a flash back or a wave

Coming home from work yesterday, saw two minis, the first being driven by an attractive young girl who looked as excited as I do!
Which, by the way, if that was you, in Northampton, think you were in a red mini can't quite remember, and you passed a blue/grey mini with bonnet straps with a guy in the driver's seat and a girl in the passenger seat... she was just my sister, it's cool.

i had a new flash at me today, i see about 20 a day and never even get a reaction, but today i got a flash, i said to my misses was that for me?
we both looked around for anything that would warrent a flash and concluded it was indeed for me, i kinda feel bad for not giving him a response but he was going the other way and caught me by suprise.

I look at it like this:
When I first began driving my mini, I had just passed my test after driving in my instructor's Citroen C2, so stepping into the mini was a bit of a culture shock!
The first few times I took the mini out and about to boost my confidence I saw plenty of other mini drivers out and about, some flashing at me but I was concentrating on what I was doing rather than fumbling around for a switch. (apologies to those who failed to recieve a wave from a suited driver of a white mini in Preston)
Now when I wave, I'd say there's about a 50/50 chance of getting a wave back. Some people look at me as if i'm from another planet as if to say "Do I know him?" whilst others, such as a girl in a Taihiti blue mini, waved frantically - especially funny seeing as we came across each other twice on the same evening - weren't following me were you?

I wouldn't take it to heart if someone doesn't wave back, they're either in their own little mini world, concentrating where they're going or wondering what's for dinner.
Personallly, i'll flash any mini I come across (but please don't read into that

Spread the joy folks!

ive been driving round Chippenham a lot recently and seen at least 10 more Minis than I knew to be in the town, it's great.
This one time recently, there was a woman in the garden with a Mini as I approached a junction opposite, I gave a little beep and waved - pointing at her Mini and then mine - but she just rolled her eyes and carried on - haha, I guess it wasnt her Mini then and is probably fed up of people like me waving to them all the time! haha - it's funny i think.
My wife think's I'm nuts, but the other day she even waved to a girl in a Cabrio, so I must be wearing her down!! haha.

I make a big point of waving to get other owners' attention, and sometimes i beep too. I try and do it so obviously that it's almost impossible to ignore, even if it's sticking my hand and arm fully out of the window.

When i get a flash from a non mini , i always feel the need to pul over and check that nothing is hanging of the car!!
haha glad im not the only one who feels like that!
I always wave or flash at other minis when i see them, its one of the best things about having a mini.... but i admit sometimes i dont see them until too late so if i dont wave or flash im not being rude im just being slow!
