When i get a flash from a non mini , i always feel the need to pul over and check that nothing is hanging of the car!!

haha glad im not the only one who feels like that!

I always wave or flash at other minis when i see them, its one of the best things about having a mini.... but i admit sometimes i dont see them until too late so if i dont wave or flash im not being rude im just being slow! :P

Ooh! Don't get me started on that! :D

Was dropping a college mate off when normal cars in the opposite lane starting flashing. At this point my mate turns to me and says "Wow, plenty of people must like your car!"

I pulled over at the next lay-by to check the car - making sure everything was in place, spotting no obvious problems. So, I continued my journey until the road led us left, over a hill and who would be there to greet us? Your friendly neighbourhood speed-trap.

I'm a fairly slow driver and keep to the speed limits so I was fine, but I dread to think what happened to the other people who overtook me earlier on!

Waved (and was waved back at ) by two Minis today in the space of about two miles around Mucklows hill in Brum today.
A Clubby estate and a very smart grey one.
Also beeped at the house in Halseowen which has a nice Black Mini parked outside on the grass verge like
an exhibit for all the world to see :tumble:

Who wouldn't wave and grin ? :dontgetit:

Best wishes
Monty

Here Minis and generally classic cars are only a few so everytime i see a classic I get excited and wave/flash, especially if it's a Mini..
Most of the Minis wave back, but most of other classics dont even care! ;)
Only a classic beetle waved at me first once!

I always wave, toot or flash! Most Mini drivers round my way do the same. Its essential part of Mini ownership!
I also give a wave to other classics, sometimes they wave back. An old 50's MG driver gave me a wave the other day as I tooted him.

Im just a nutter who waves at everyone

on a more serious note, i flash wave minis, bugs and campers. and always get them back, even the odd BMW now and again. only the ones where you can tell its not just a car to them though,

When I'm not in the Mini, I see loads of Minis, .... they appear from every driveway.. every junction... every set of traffic lights. I don't wave as I guess I'll get an :o of the Mini driver or the wife . But what do you know, the minute I jump in the Mini and take it for a spin, you lot put your Minis away and I never darn well spot one!!!!! ;)

My Mini will be off the road for a while so if you see a black trike behind you or coming the opposite way,and if the rider gives you a clenched fist salute, don't get uptight because it might be me.

Do you mean they don't get out of your way,I know what you mean, and you only get 15 points for them.Unless you get a brace, then it's 30 each.
It's ok,I can say that because I'm 66 later this year.
Hey,when was the stage one kit fitted,I didn't feel a thing.
