I'm actually getting a wooden garage made for Tiny, so I can keep her dry and happy! What a relief that will be.
Winter is approaching, and I need a modern, reliable small car that isn't boring for every day! I've been looking at Kas, Lupos, Corsas, but wonder what you guys have, if anything? I have £1000 to spend!

No kids.... don't need boot space as long as I can fit a fiddle and a guitar in the back!

206. they look good for a modern car they handle well, are big enough to carry stuff should you need to, theyre cheap to run and maintain....erm....oh and they don't rust so that's an added bonus :)

when i was looking for a modern every day car to replace my mini i was undecided between the 206 and a ford ka

fortunately i made the better choice :)

i got mine with 32k with 2 owners and very little signs of wear for £1300 that included a full years mot and tax too :ermm:

I think lupo's are wicked! you can get a 1.7 diesel, very economical and fast enough for what you need. I want a lime green one :) Ka's are cr@p, especially the early ones, brakes are almost non existent. 106's are ok so long as it's the facelift ones, the earlier ones are pish.

i was going to buy my friends honda integra type r off him to use as a nippy daily, but cant justify paying what the insurance wanted!

have you thought of getting a metro? same engine as a mini. 205's are cool, renault 5's are good.

Boyfriend's had one for 4 years and it's been the most reliable car I've ever known... maybe just lucky! Boring though!

I've got a 1995 clio 1.8 16v, quite quick, engines fairly bulletproof, can pick them up from £5/600. Insurance is a little steep tho..
