Just cracking on with little bits and pieces today.
I've removed the holes where the numberplate light goes as I'm going to use those bolt light ones which hold the plate on and light it up.
The drivers door is too tight, so I need to trim a tiny bit off that.
I also need to modify the hinge by cutting down the blob of weld which holds the threaded part on. It seems far shallower on my old hinges, I just hope I don't cut too much off. That may well be tomorrows job

That boot fits much better mate.
Don't think i have seen it fitted since the other time when we were trying to improve the fit.

It'll fit even better with a seal mate, just trying to make as much space as possible

Not a lot done to the mini today, but had a tidy up of the garage, I can now see a section of the work bench again.
Mini out and floor swept, it makes it easier to work on.

Things are progressing fairly well at the moment. Ben has been over a couple of times to provide help, advice and guidance which is much appreciated.
I'm going to get the car into primer soon so that I can see and sort all the little imperfections.
Front end in primer
Spot lights trial fitted.
I'm hoping to get back in there tomorrow and clean out the gutter.
