Good man Carlos. Just popped on the forum to see what people are up to. Used to be on every day. Now once in a while. Your wee car is really coming on and its going to be lovely. Keep at it.

Hugh

Right, the interior is kind of painted.

I haven't done the inside of the rear 1/4s yet, and I caught the pipe on the bottom dash rail so I may have to see if the mark will polish out or if it needs repainted.

I couldn't get in and do the rear side of the dash panel shelf, I'm considering getting a smaller pot for the gun an revisiting this area

It's actually purple, but it looks so blue

I dunno yet mate, it needs flatted first.

I wasn't too concerned about lacquer on areas that aren't going to be seen. It's cellulose paint.

if you give it a couple of coats of lacquer even RFU it will give it better protection and any dirt will wash of and not get stuck in the base coat

Not really!

There's a lot going on at the moment, none of which is mini based.

There'll be more on Monday hopefully

I really should've taken some more pictures, but panel gaps are now sorted on both doors, there's a skim of filler on the edge which I've left to go off, I'll get it sanded down on Monday and some more pictures taken

The almost finished door

IMAG14581_zps7a9b8a2e.jpg

The hinge was catching though

The gaps are really good and I'm very pleased, but I may need to modify the hinge slightly

More to come soon
