Right, the interior is kind of painted.
I haven't done the inside of the rear 1/4s yet, and I caught the pipe on the bottom dash rail so I may have to see if the mark will polish out or if it needs repainted.
I couldn't get in and do the rear side of the dash panel shelf, I'm considering getting a smaller pot for the gun an revisiting this area
It's actually purple, but it looks so blue

I dunno yet mate, it needs flatted first.
I wasn't too concerned about lacquer on areas that aren't going to be seen. It's cellulose paint.

if you give it a couple of coats of lacquer even RFU it will give it better protection and any dirt will wash of and not get stuck in the base coat

I'll show you the real thing tomorrow mate, it's worked amazingly well, got to take your time due to the heat, but it didn't take that long
