The mini has made huge progress today, but I had very little to do with it.

 

Ben has managed more in a couple of hours than I seem to in a couple of days

 

 

 

I'm so pleased, it really feels like a mile stone.

 

I need to clean out the gutter, re-seam seal it, then there's just a load of niggly little jobs before paint.

How do you manage to do all the panel work and spraying in a single garage when I find there isn't enough room to even grease my car in one?

Small update, Ben came round today and we've diagnosed the brake issue on the rear of his 106, hardly any rear shoes.

Then we cracked on and cleaned loads of sealant out the gutter and made a list of other areas that need sorted before the high build primer.

We need to service and sort a few issues on the 106 next week then hopefully make a bit more progress on the mini.

After getting soaked, having to go and get a brake pipe, and various other fun, the 106 now has new shoes and a wheel cylinder.

 

And, I also achieved this today

 

 

 

The roof is in primer.

 

Ben is coming back round on Wednesday and we're going to mark all the imperfections on the car and work our way around them.

Right, LOTS of thing have happened over the last few days, some mini related, and some not.

 

Firstly, I'd like to announce the arrival of my daughter Amelia

 

 

 

Secondly, Ben has really been progressing things whilst I've been away growing the family, the car really needs to come out the garage for some proper pics but it's looking soo good now.

 

 

 

I really appreciate all your work mate, l will be able to escape to the garage probably on Tuesday for a conference and to see what else needs done before the final coats of primer
