I had a surprise bit of progress today.

It's mad busy in my house at the moment, with baby, Mazda needed MOT'd, I'm best man at a wedding on Saturday and the Mrs is making the 4 tier wedding cake,

Ben popped over to borrow some tools and fitted my shark fin whilst he was here!

Cheers mate

I used a step cutter Graham, then filed it out with a rubbish tiny file.

trying to find the right tool for the job in Carl's garage is like trying to find a needle in a haystack!

No offence Carl  :D

I put tape about in the middle, measured 3 times, drilled once, then bigger, then bigger, then bigger

I need to get a bit more time down there, but stress levels here are massive as the wife is making a 4 tier wedding cake for her brothers wedding on Saturday and I'm best man. Add the 4 week old baby to that and it's all good fun

Managed to get 20 minutes in the garage today to sort the fog light which is going to be frenched into the boot.

It was a tiny bit tight but I've filed the tube to make the fog light fit

I started with a grinding disc, then various items in the drill, and the file

Quick update, I managed to find an hour to spend in the garage today.

I borrowed a hole saw to cut a hole in the boot lid to fit the fog light, but to be honest, it was rubbish and I ended up having to sort it out by hand.

After a bit of cutting, welding and grinding I've got to here.

There's a bit of finishing off to do, but it's all I've managed in weeks
