We've spent ages getting everything just perfect before the final coat.
The gutters weren't right, I'd added some rust stuff which shrunk when it dried and the gutters were awful.
the roof has then been flatted
and edges re-painted
and the door wasn't right
We had a great morning and Ben cracked on like a trooper into the afternoon after I picked up the monster from childcare.
There's a list of tasks to do before painting, hopefully a week on Monday

Hello Carlos. I have not been on the forum for ages and here you are still at it! It looks great and you are taking so much care than I did. Mine has been on the road a couple of years now, I drive it quite a lot. Winter has been hard and its getting rusty! Great to see you keeping at it for so long. That's some commitment Carlos! All the best, Hugh.

A few more photos that i took today
The roof gutter after we cleaned back the rust converter jollop.
And there were a few bits that needed tending to on the scuttle and the wing.
And just one more of the wing/scuttle after primer
We made good progress but we need to get our fingers out if it's going to be in colour Monday week

We need a target, and we have "the list"

Hugh, lovely to hear from you.
I haven't had much time or money for the past year so progress has been painfully slow.
Ben has been fantastic yet again and really breathed new life into things

It's coming along well Carlos, good work from you and Ben. The day when you drive a mini for the first time is getting steadily closer!
