Is it with the screws for the door latch?

Pm me your address and I'll send you some stainless ones for free that should sort your enthusiasm out. I bought two lots

A quick update, I've nearly got the bonnet to fit properly, I've put the bonnet pin and seals on, and I think I need to modify the brackets on the bonnet so that it sits a tiny bit lower at the back.

Then I'm going to weld the brackets to give the whole thing a bit of strength. I also think the part the pin mounts to is a bit weak, I had to run a thread tap through it to clean the threads up and it was flexing.

If that's meant to be hinges, then yes

Needs a little tweak

If I file the mounts on the bonnet this should drop down nicely.

Non-Heritage bonnets really aren't a very good fit. The mounts just seem to be in the wrong place

Make sure you fit the locking pin etc before you adjust the back

It's on mate, as is the seal on the back, if you look carefully you can see the lever to release

They're the same thing, although they're not the latest minivation ones.

The latest ones mount the same place as the original ones so may be a bit better.

Ok, I've slotted the mounts where the hinges bolts to the bonnet and it's not getting any better.

IMAG1007_zpsrrvat7jn.jpg

But, if I take the seal off the back it fits fine, it may even be a bit low.

IMAG1009_zpsegn6esiv.jpg

I'm going to replace it an make sure it's on as far as it'll go. If that doesn't sort it, am I just going to have to hope it gives over time?
