After much research and some long conversations I've decided to use AC Dodd for my gearbox rebuild and engine machining work.
I dropped this, and a box of parts which I'd stripped out of another box off to him
He stripped and inspected the parts and gave me a list of what needed replacing which I ordered from Minispares and had posted to him
I probably should've had the engine machining done first, but I was going to use someone more local. Unfortunately companies I contacted didn't ever come back to me with quotes.
I'm currently clearing the work bench and sorting everything in order to have a good space to rebuild the engine.

Haha those secretes. I'm quite lucky my misses don't mind about the money and just bothers about the time I don't spend with her lol. Gearbox does look super clean and nice
