Hi there, i really dont know! The lads at minispares were also a bit confused as to what they are, i've not seen any like them. By coincedence i know the previous owner and he didnt change them , so its a bit of a mystery...

Thought i'd post an update with what i've been up to on my car the last couple of months.

Well, ive been mostly driving it! Heres a few pics from our lakes run a couple of weeks ago, showing my new archless look and new wheels... just need to have the old arch holes welded up and painted.

Cooper the dog is getting massive....

The biggest problem i had was a complete lack of power with the roofrack on and the back seat full of dog and his stuff. The engine really feels a little tired, so ive decided to bring the car off the road for a few weeks (tax due today!!!) and get the 1275 in......

so i took the 1275 block down to the engineers today. Turns out the bores are too scored to have them honed/de glazed, so its rebore time. Its already at +20 thou, so next is +40. So the block is going back in tomorrow. Found some damage to the cam followers, but cam itself is fine although the bearings may need replacing. Gearbox is good too, so i've got off light!!

Looking Great! Have to admit I feel the "wide arch" look is overdone with Minis so I think you've gone a good way, love the wheels, just needs some deluxe arch trim to finish it off

Thanks, i know i got bored of the wide look, its really hard to get arches to fit evenly as well, plus i found they can sometimes end up hiding rusty nastiness.
