and what pistons do you have atm, 73.5mm if they're not crap ones will be fine, techically you have another 2 rebores but most only go to 74mm, personally I wouldn't go past 73.5mm as it's cheaper to change the block than the pistons atm lol. I assume your's was ofset bored.

oh and i have manged to collect a full set of hardy spicer inputs and oupt shafts and drive shafts.
but i have a spare set of these if anyones intrested, brand new never used still in the boxes and teh green wrapping paper thingy

also on the plus side looks like ive found some were that will do my machine work on my block.
only thing im not sure on is conrods, i like the look of the arrowhead but i dont know what to go for, as teh car will manily be used at weekends when i go home or when traverling to shows, im not really planning on using it for a quick dash to the shops.
any one got any ideas what rods to use?

and then when i get a bit more money ill build a 1293.
also decided im just gonna run the bottom end in on a standard head with hiff 44, and then once the bottom end has been run in ill put my new cylinder head on and the webers
but the stage 5 head that i had is still for sale as im not going to be using it

well since the last post ive done nothing to the engine or car till this week.
just been working and shizzle
so monday managed to get my block to the machine shop
and left him with a selection of parts
and picked it up to day with the follwing done:
head skimmed
cam bearings fitted
center strap machined
drilled for 11 stud
re bore +20 to 1293
pistons fitted to con rods
and to little holes drilled and tapped as well for something else
its currently still in teh back of my car so will get photos saturday when i can get it out

and ive made a few changes
