Right I've been thinking of running a megajolt system instead of a dizzy.
What things do I need to get my hands on?

This is a good place to look if you want to go down the megajolt route

car club on bas phoned me today saying i have use of one of the bays with full use of all there tools till the end of next month. so looks liek ill pull my finger out and start building it then.

oh and MED phoned me saying there just finishing my head of and it should be in the post by friday.

so outher than needing to collect my sc cr box from pual inch, im pritty much there.

oh and ive decided to re use the 3.9 crown wheel and pinion,

and ive got to somehow modifie my webers as i need a vacum take of for the megajolt, hmm sure ill think of some way, was thing maybe using the servo take of?

as if i could make somethign to fit and just use a small type of pipe to conect to the megajolt, and hay presto?

or i could even have a set of plates made up to go between the weber and manifold, hmm lots to think about,

im sure ill figure it out.

and with all teh mechanics being used to working on ships engines and submarines reactors, im sure they will have some imput and try and have a go at making something, just as long as its not to industrial

Can you reply to my PM please? If you're not interested in the roof rack anymore, the least you could do is let me know.

As for megajolt, go on autosportlabs website, and look at the how-tos, and at their forum. Loads of info, really helpful when i did my conversion.

What cam are you using by the way? If its dead lairy, with that and the webers you might want a TPS rather than MAP.

Yeahmate, kent 649 is a full race cam. I've never used the TPS, but i've read that that's what it's used for.

Right I managed to get pretty much every thing done to my sylhet block that I wanted outer than getting the pistons in as some one has nicked my special tool so I'm gonna have to borrow one,

I'm looking forward to giving it some paint and getting it sat on my gearbox which is currently being stripped and cleaned at the machine shop.
So I'm hoping to have the engine built up soon.

MED phoned me today to say my head is all done and there posting it tomorrow and that I should have it Thursday, so Thursday evening I'll get some pics ofnthe head up so you can see my little supprise

well went down to finish my engine work of, to find the police in the garage wanting to talk to me

wanted to know were i was all last night, as teh garage had its back door kicked in and was robbed,
but they have ropped every thing off, and i stupidly left everything out on the work bench all my sc box drops lightened fly wheel, half built 1293, and my car was unlocked as its a rule of the club and my keys were in teh office they broke into.

they wont let me check if anythigns missing, hardly letting me know what state my stuffs in, and they want me for questioning tommorrow to rule me out of the list of people it could be.

i didnt do it and i have an aliby
as i was duty chef on my submarine last night, and was part of the fire watch team overnight so had no way of leaving

this is just so annoying and a massive set back
