back on land for a while.

had issues at sea, major one being while being on the surface instead of dived like a submarine should be as we had probllems.
we got caught on a force 10 storm, and being in a small galley with sharp knifes, and 16 gallon pots of spuds and veg roaming round the floor as they broke free from there securing straps, obviously theres gonna be a casualty.

cut alogn story short, ive lost half of a finger, and had to get rid of the salad id just made.

all i can say is whats all the sunshine about, my eyes hurt, spent the last day inside under the stairs till i can get used to big open spaces again, im used to having to get out my bed walk 2 feet to shower and then 2 more feet to the galley to start work. but good things is no more work till they work out what to do with my hands as there cut up.

so mini is gonna get some attanetion, first thing is get that bloody engine in for riv run :)

what this space :)

ouch yes, and yeah ive got my seat fitted, so comfy, its tight on the b post, and because its such a snug fit as well, youve really got to use your mirros as doesnt give you alot of head movment when the harness is on. but seen as this is a weekend car i think ill be alright :)

goign to pick it up from home today so i can take a pic of it in the car

so annoyed, been driving the mini this weekend, and well it didnt seem to be handlign very well, finaily got that annoyed with it being so squirmsh i got out and looked last night, and some how both my tie bars are shapped like bannans, and there not std there heavy duty ones, and looks liek because of them being that shape its messed my wheel position as my front tyres are looking like racing slicks.

so thats a nice punch in the face :/

Well my mate came to the rescue and I've got a 1275 engine in with sc box LSD 649 can and my stage 5 head, so all I've lost is my nicely painted engine and a few cc, but to say I'm not happy with the engine shop would e and understament, second time I've used him and second time my engines gone pop not long free rebuilding it

right ive got my engine apart, and 2 of the pistons are seized up tight and have dragged on the bores look like the little ends are seized, so ive taken the oil pump off and what ever he used as a gasket was shocking!

luckly my crank and my 649 cam are all ok nothing wrong with them so in that aspect im lucky, and my sc box and drops are fine,

so atm ive got a 1293 block sat on my work bench which would go again with a rebore, and atm i really dont know what to do with my little collection of expensive parts, oh and my stage 5 head is fine which is lucky.

need to paint the inside of the floors as there lookign rougth atm, and im goign to get it up on stands and protect her underside next week as well,

but the 1275 engine im running atm is helish quick and good fun to drive :)

ill up load some pics tonight

ahh well

the 1275 in my mini atm goes well, and im loving the sound of sc again
