Got a few bits to get at Beaulieu this weekend but hopefully I'll find sometime to get all this on this week so she can be sat on her own wheels and then if I can get the engine crane back off a mate i can get the engine in next weekend.

Just under 8 weeks until the IMM and nope I am not planning on taking any time off. I am hoping once the car is rolling and the brakes lines are done the car should go together easy. Anyone that wants to come over and lend a hand at all is more then welcome. I can pay in beer!

I have a list of bits to buy 2moz ready to get the engine fitted next weekend! Hopefully it all goes to plan.

Beaulieu was a cracking day out! Shame I had to bale early to get to work but I bought loads of bits I need to get on with this.

Gasket set and the manifold studs/nuts means I can get the engine together this week. I just need to get a manifold but I plan on going to Mini Spares in the next few weeks to get all that.

I have all the exhaust brackets now as well so I can start fitting those on to the car ready.

Park switch, washer motor, and flasher units so I can get a few more bits of the wiring done and fit the wiper rack as well.

New rear T piece as the thread in mine was mullered so could not finish the brakes lines with out it.

Then just a random pack of stainless self tappers to hold things together.

Trip to Mini Spares is in order soon for

Manifold

Engine Steadys

Radiator

Bumpers

Starter Motor

Alternator

and I am sure more bits will be added to that list before then.

what manifold do you want ?

i.e. one that is new and shiny, or one that needs a rub down and paint.
