Yea not bad. Only down side is rather then taking the cover off my dad decided to roll it half way back and then hold it down with a brick and not tell me. So when I put the cover back on the brick goes bouncing down the bonnet. Has left a deep scratch in it. At least it going to be repainted anyway. But really. Who puts a brick on a car. What a nob!

If anyone came anywhere my min with a brick once it was painted, they would see that brick round the side of there head even if it was my dad LOL

Looking good though, glad the weather held out for you.

Well I took the clubby for a run out to a local show, I picked these up.

I think the flat lenses look cool. I just need to get amber lenes but I am using tail light ones as I am gonna have them as side lights and indicators.

I also picked myself up a rocker cover and a load of spare bits from a guy giving up on a project. Things like ball joints and wheel cylinder. I love having spares haha. Was a nice day!

Don't be silly. They are stainless bolts with lock nuts on. I need to find some smaller ones really.

I can't believe how light they are haha. Also I am off to mini spares in the morning for a big shop which should complete the list of bits I need to get her rolling!

Right well today I popped up to Mini Spares I think I should now have all the bits I need to get her rolling.

Now the whole reason we went up there and didn't order online was so I could take my radius arms there to be swapped in for some refurbed ones.

But I totally forgot to take the old ones up haha so I need to go back up and get some money back.

But here are the nice fresh ones.

Few of the last bits to get her rolling were some knuckle joints and a rear castle nut. Although not needed for her to be rolling I also got the rest of the bits for the handbrake.

A new fuse box so I can finish off a bit more of the loom.

Then just a few odd bolts and fixings that I have lost while she's been in bits.

Then of course when rebuilding a car you can never have enough nuts and washers and seeing as I have used nearly all of the ones I bought last time I thought I would stock up again.

Maybe, Just maybe she will be sat on all 4 wheels by next weekend.

Anyway thats about it for now! Cheers.

Looking good mate, nice clean build. You have freakishly small teacups.

RIV?

Right well yesterday Ross and his lovely girlfriend came over and helped me with a few bits on the mini.

We got the steering rack and hubs joined up, Fitted the shocks all round and lowered the HiLows enough to get the shocks to fit.

I also got a few other small bits fitted and ross wired in the fuse box.

Really the only thing I am waiting for is a pair of camber brackets and I can get the back sat down on its wheels as well. I know have a few weeks off work. I am off to Cornwall and Scotland in that time but I will try and make some time for the mini as well.
