Well not updated this is a while, main reason being I have don naff all to it other then fit those few bits I bought at rockingham, I did get all the engine back together and in place and thats pretty much ready to run, I just haven't bothered trying.

 

I keep playing with the metro and sorting out commer this just gets forgotten, well metro is looking smart now and the commer is also MOTed and ready to go, just waiting for the logbook to come.

 

So although I always miss deadlines I kinda like having one as I seem to get more done when I do, Well today IMM tickets for Belgium were purchased I would like to take this so that is gonna be the next dead line meaning really it needs to be done by March so I have enough time to run it and and make sure its all going ok. 

 

I am hoping to get the car sent away October time for a few bits of work I'm not happy with and a repaint. There really isn't a lot to get sorted now so once thats done we should get this sorted!

 

Also on a totally pointless note,

 

my momos have gone off to be refurbed, again once these are back I hope it will give me a bit more motivation to get this bloody car done.

Not updated this in a while, Well basically not got the mini bug at the moment, Still having more fun with the metro and the Commer, BUT! I do have IMM tickets and I think I will end up pretty gutted if I don't go on a mini, So a guy came and gave me a quite for the repaint and a few other bits I'm not happy with, we agreed on a price and its getting picked up next month, Hopefully will be done for the end of March and it may make a appliance at Brooklands,

 

 

Also I did get the momos back from a refurb

 

 

 

 

Think they came up alright, So those are done and not even fitting to the car yet and I thought hmm, maybe time for new wheels haha,

 

I got offered a set of millie miglias so couldn't really say no, will get them refurbed at some point when the car is on the road, 

 

 

I have also spoke to Austin at Waboo who will be retrimming the interior. As soon as the cars on the road it will be going up to him to be done. Then hopefully a trouble free trip to the IMM

 

 

Just incase people forgot what it looked like I did pull it out a few weeks ago.

Well update time. The car didn't go to paint until later then I thought. I got the car back the day before I went away to Amsterdam and the IMM. But anyway JLA Minis have done a good job on the paint. Much better then the last one. I'm got her back and started to fit it back up.

 

 

 

 

 

Thats how she's looking at the moment. I tried to fit the hand brake yesterday but can't find the bit that joins the front and rear cable together but Geoff has kindly found me one of those.

 

Iv got a carpet underlay set on order, and have a newton fitted carpet set ready to go it,

Right well I am now back from my long weekend in Scotland and thats my 2 weeks off work done. While I was away a few bits turned up.

Heres the carpet I went for as I didn't stick a pic up before.

 

 

Also bought this little heater as now I have gone with no padded dash rails the standard heater sticks out to far and looks odd. its not really gonna be used in the winter so heater isn't really needed, Just nice to have one to turn on when the engine gets hot from sitting in traffic ha.

 

 

Don't start work until 11 so might pop out and have a look at how to mount that heater if I get a chance,

 

The other other bits I really need now as some of the chrome seals that sit on top of the door so seal the window up and I need a rubber window runner for one of my inno windows. Have spoke to a guy with a few into parts and hopefully he can sort me out.

Right well yesterday I got the hand brake fitted with some help from a mate, I got the bit I was missing of geoff which cleaned up nice.

 

 

 

Gave that a lick of paint and got it all fitted just needs adjusting,

 

Now thats in I can get all the carpet in, I was gonna do this today but its chucking it down outside so not a lot happing tonight.

Heater is just a small kit car one off eBay. No idea if it's any good but to be honest the cars not gonna get used in the winter anyway.
