Quality site! However, you forgot one of the most vital of all Boy Racer driving aids... the use of the fog light. When driving with ones front fog lights on (regardless of the weather conditions), a Boy Racer can tell other road users that he is in a powerful racing machine and can take on and beat anyone on the roads - this can be seen as the Boy Racers equivalent of a duel. It is not uncommon to find the Boy Racer purchasing after market front fog lights as the standard 1.1 deal (including a years free insurance) did not include front fog lights. Often this after market installation will be carried out at home to reduce excess cost and will result in a considerable amount of damage to the bumper, although this is of minimum concern because all boy racers will replace the bumper with a new and `better` body kit every 6-12 weeks.

What does Boy Racer mean?
Word: Boy Racer
Definition: Usually a boy in a baseball hat between the ages of 17 and 25 whom likes to drive too fast. They are notorious for tailgating and driving older style Peugeots with ridiculous spoilers. Although, they may also drive other makes of car. If you see silly fog lights on the front of the car, this could also be the trademark of the Boy Racer.

Im not sure your going to be able to make one alteration to your car without someone taking the *******.
The foglights look well done mate! Keep it up.

Possibly, maybe a bit later. Got to get this 1380 in and running nicely first.

Head gasket set - cam cover is leaking like a *******. Also gives me an inlet gasket to make up a flange/manifold to fit these R1 throttle bodies if i get bored before the big XE goes in.
And a bunch of panels!!
2x full outer sills
2x full rear inner arches
Rear valance
Sounds worse than it is, but I like to have the full panel to play with and decide whether to replace the whole thing or cut out and weld in the bit I need. Would ideally like to use the full panel, but we'll see.
Also need 2x full rear quarters/wings. Which is as above really, though the N/S could really do with the whole quarter being changed. The O/S is bit of an arse to get hold of though.
Glad those are here really. I can keep messing about with the car without feeling like I'm neglecting the rust

Yeah Ben. I'm still looking into what brake kits are available and the pricing, but they will have to be 5 stud!. I think Hi-spec do a brake kit for the Vectra B, which is 5 stud and about 335mm rotors. It will be on coilovers all round at some point, and I think GAZ are highly rated for the Astra. It is on -60mm springs at the minute though I think. Already has F&R Rollbars as its the phase 1 GSi. Phase 2 didn't have a rear!.
I'm tempted just to stick the throttle bodies on the 1800 just to get the hang of roughly tuning the ECU before I let myself loose on a £6k+ engine

C20LET has already been pencilled in for the future. That's half the reason I went completely over the top with the spec in the first place. The clutch being fitted to the XE is nothing short of complete overkill, being capable of handling over 400lbft. H section steel rods are not even needed for 350bhp on an LET. The head bring worked can also be used for an LET. I'm now also fitting a 4WD F28 6 speed gearbox (converted to 2WD), instead of the standard F20 (they are known to fail with big power), and are known to be reliable with 500bhp LET's. etc. etc. etc.
Not anywhere even near to be closely thinking about building an LET yet though. I'm just building it future-proof!.
