Painted the sills and under the rear arch in some vermillion enamel paint, instant shine... well impressed :- Under neath that is a fair amount of rust proof paint, plently of coats of primer and stone chip paint... I think it should last a while!

Here are the pics:

Car Insurance Quotes!! £1767.24 - £1953.27 - £2025.00

Its a 1979 Leyland Mini 850 for God sakes! That was done using the quick quote features on some websites Liverpool Victoria being one of them! That was without declaring mods! Which I will declare when i come to insure my mini

Have you tried insuring it on a classic policy?

Give Adrian Flux a try.

Most classic policys are 21+ anyway.

to be honest i found CIS (co-op insurance) the cheapest around for me. Liverpool victoria arent bad either tho.

Tesco, i dunno y people say there cheap, i dont know anyone with a good quote from them.

im with yes insurance on my mini, but its my 2nd car, limited miles etc.
My seat ibiza is with CIS insurance.

Hello again, people. Yes the project still exists! :errr:

Gave the lil' one a wash today as she looked very sorry for herself covered in dust and dirt! So I thought she'd be good, for a good wash n leather down! :1eye:

Took a few pics whilst she was shining! (Seen below)

The " MRS " wasnt... no isn't pleased with me, as I was giving the Mini more attention than her (as you do) I wasnt textin her back, as I had dirty hands and then wet hands when I was washing it  She said something along the lines of I like it when you get you hands dirty, but i dont really know what she meens :D Then I eventually text her back :dozing: and she moaned again, I didnt put any kisses on the end... womenn! Anyway success with the Mini  It is running again, I was laughing at dad attempting to start it, no ignition light or anything was on SEVERAL times!! :) He was like oh its a dead battery...
I was like, get out the way! I went in, turned the key and chug chug chug!! So I think she likes me better than dad! Oh yeah put the drivers front seat in as that side of the floor is finished! Yeah!

The pictures:

Hmmm overspary... spraying that stone chip was fun, not only did it cover the Mini but the Land Rover behind :alien::lol: (Not done today)
