who can remember moddifying in the early 80s?

i have got some lucas "lozenge" shaped spot/fog lamps but not sure if they are 70s?

what was the 80s alloy wheel of ultimate coolness?

im far too young to remember obviously! (28!)

For me it was Wolfrace slots, chrome weller 8 spokes had them on my old VX4/90 and MK3 Tina. Oh jacked up Fords especially Crappers but they were dying out by then due to those new fangled fwd escorts etc.

i think those cheap brightly coloured wiper boots were so cheap and naff! im looking for some on ebay for my car now!

I did the wooden dash with a set of gauges out of the Triumph. Including the warning light one that looked like a pie chart!

I had 10" slotmags though intead of wellers.

A pal at the time had a rear view mirror that went the full width of the car. IIRC it had 7 or 8 different angled mirrors in it.

Another pal had the jacked up Escort Mk1 with the fog lamp under the back shining on the badly painted diff case!

Here's a pic of my Gray Mini in 79' (before it was Gray). 100 plus wheels, two tone paint, & Austin America seats. Added one of those full width interior mirrors later (Wink Mirror).
