I put a Rookie wood dashboard with some TIM gauges in my Mini in the '80's. Also had some pod speakers on the rear shelf!

As I was in an Escort Mk2 in the very late 80s, I have to admit to fitting the steels on it, that were 8 inch front and 10 inch rears, the ones with black and silver finishes like sea shells. Big spot lights behind the plastic grill it used to confuse people as you couldn't see them in the dark except when on. That was it for me in the 80s.

1983 KAT mini
This body kit was avaliable in the 1980's and was designed by the same people who did the Tickford Metros and Tickford Capris.
Love it!!!!! I'm looking for a KAT kit for mine. Keep scouring eBay)

autoplas roof consoles
Can I ask what is an Autoplas roof console? Anyone got a pic? I like the Autoplas dash so interested to see the roof console.
Love the 80s but was unfortunately too young to drive then so no old pics to post Im afraid!
