Also picked up some bump stops to complete the subframe, which were a knightmare to fit should have put them in before putting the doughnuts in (Will know better next time)

Also picked up new brake and clutch master cylinders Gaz shocks facet silver top fuel pump kit and filter king regulator

i was quite let down on the DSN Classic Stuff you can see quite alot of Milling marks on them
okay few is fine but some of the stuff i seen i was let down or its props just me i like getting a shiny finish on stuff i make at college
but the engine looks so nice

Also i'd love to see a thread on your Hornet, nicest i've seen in a long time! Would like to do a post on Status Error about it if you have some nice pictures of it?

well I have managed to install the 4 pin diff and start painting up engine bits and started to build the engine (using the engine build DVD and manuals to double check what I am doing) dont want it to go boom
so far installed Crank and checked end float


going out into garage now to do a bit more

pistons are now installed


also installed Cam oil pump and timing gear.


Tomorrow I will time the cam in and get it sat on the gearbox hopefully

Then set about timing the cam in, said should be timed to 106-108deg I timed to the 108 is there any advantage or disadvantage to this ie is 108 or 106 better?

Then got all excited and sat the head and carbs on just to see what its going to look like.

all been fully balanced
Alloy 7 Port head
twin 40 webers
Standard box with cross pin diff
Megajolt ignition
Going to have a couple of different bonnets some with webers on show some with it all hidden ( if it fits )

I have just ordered a full race KAD 16 valve motor for my sprint/hillclimb car. Never mind just having the carbs on show, i'm thinking of having a perspex bonnet. For how much its cost i'm gonna show it off lol.
