Yes it normally would have grease in but as it is going to be mounted inside the car the rod will not be exposed to the weather like it is normally.

No, I dont think it will be bad as it will still have some greece on the shaft.

Hello mate, just looking through your thread for a few ideas on my mk1. Noticed your using 7.9 inch discs and calipers. Will these fit under your 10" wheels ok? I'm going to be using 10x6 MB racing wheels.

Hi Kris sorry only just noticed your reply I dont know about mb racing but I know they fit under Force racing 3 piece split rims and there exaction conversions aswell as 6x10 GB's, basically all wheels I have tried they have fit.
Also been doing mock build of the engine for this as i nicked the orignal engine I built and put it in my Hornet

OOps not done anything on this since Dec 2011, well 2013 is going to be the year its on the road.

Started on the doors got one stripped down and made a repair panel for the bottom inner and outer, all rust gone now just needs a thin film of filler to make it all nice
