theres nothing wrong with the new minis. i have a classic one now but i dont intend on using it as my main car all the time so ill probably buy a BMW mini as an everyday car.

im 3 months of of finishing a BENG Mechanical and Automotive engineering degree at the minute, and as i have learnt in lectures that car would not have been allowed to be produced now due to all of the directives and the safety factors that need to be taken into account for new cars. the solid steering column, the engine ending up on your knee if you crash, the lack of airbags and the engine would not be efficient enough to run under the strict directives the govern new cars.

the mini is a classic and would never legally be made again, i think the BMW mini is a new representation of the old classic with all of the mod cons people want in a car.

and yeah the copper could have been alot worse with you if hed have wanted and it doesnt set a very good example to children and gives mini drivers a bad name. if your not a mini driver you wont see it as banter?

There's a fine line between racism and just being plain wrong. Australian wine isn't all bad. Foreign TV isn't all rubbish, and BMW's mini was for the most part designed by hard working BRITSH Rover employees, and is for the most part built by british hard working ex rover employees, and mostly the one's sold in Europe are built in the BRITIAN, (although I understand that there is a plant in the USA ?) and brings in revenue to the UK which helps our balance of payments. Love it or hate it, just because the profit is creamed off by a German Company, it doesn't make it German. Is an astra built in Merseyside an American car, cause it's owned by General Motors, of a Lnadrover from solihul considered indian ?
If you've ever driven a BINI, you'd find it was a pretty okay car, fast in Cooper S form and adequate enough in ONE form. I don't think your sticker is racist, but if I owned a BMW mini I might be offended. In the same way that the sticker I had on my mk2 cavalier which said "I'd rather be dead than driving a picasso" could perhaps be considered offensive to sad middle aged women who know nothing about cars, and choose to buy a french heap on HP.

Personally I think the police perhaps could waste there time on other things. But maybe his wife drives a MINI ?

 :) :) CORRECT!!!

I have the same sticker. Here, no one excited about it. :D
Seriously... Such a fuss for nothing.
