Swear words have become a cliché to so many people they are simply handy words that can be used as nouns and adjectives. However some people are still offended by them and no young children should use then. People can't swear on TV before a certain time for the very reason that children shouldn't be exposed to it. I cannot quote any laws to you which forbid swear words on cars but find me an example of something that is displayed 24/7 containing profanities then you may be able to keep your sticker.

On the other hand, it is a bit much for him to pull you over for it, you must live somewhere nice without much crime.

There isn't much crime, but there is a gypsy site 3 miles away!!!! I do have a good few examples of 24/7 profanities. Firstly, stickers truckers have on doors, with sexy women figures, football fans cars, with the a guy ******* on an opposition team shirt, F*** the EU stickers on cars. Ohhh how about this one, the playboy image been sold to girls as young as like 1 . I literally win this whole arguement with that.
Me saying german BINIs are (Poo) and Playboy, one of the largest soft porn corporations in the world selling and profitting from 3 year olds wearing shirts with there logo on.
This is literally, and don't argue, guy with the tractor picture, the same as me having a swastika symbol on my t shirt, or pencil case, like the playboy bunny on little kids!!

Yes and a lot of people also have the same sticker as you, all are a eligible to be asked to remove it, but not everyone actually is. A lot of people commit crimes and are not prosecuted.

Playboy market to the parents as far as a 1 year old in concerned its a rabbit or they have no comprehension of what they are even wearing, don't know why anyone would buy it for there kids anyway I am pretty sure no official merch is produced for babies. It does exist, yes, but not officially, only fakes. Other companies have removed products from there stores that have been deemed too "mature" for young children. Like your sticker is too mature to be out in view of the general public.

I also disagree that supporting mass genocide is the same as buying bad taste clothes for your child.

I feel this has got a bit off topic but you are right to feel annoyed that you got pulled for it but there isn't really any denying that it's not right to have swear words on your car, as true as they may be.

The sticker is plain abusive, not racist, sexist, ageist, or anything else!

Like you can't go down the street shouting that word, if you did, and a police officer heard you, they may stop you and ask you to stop!

Personally I think the OP came on here to get some friendly sympathy, which then turned in to a "bun fight" unfortunately we have different views and standards, we can't all be the same and a good job we aren't.

The bottom line is we all like the Classic Mini, so rather than upset any other members on here why not just stop here and close this thread.

I was tempted to buy that sticker but I thought that it may be frowned upon by parents with small children. I want people to smile at my mini, have a laugh at the sign in the back window if they get it and then smile when they see it a second time.

A bit of a joke that he pulled you over though, particularly if he said he agreed with it. Most coppers who don't even know what it means would overlook it so surely he could have.

I won't be removing it anyway, and as for section 5. It isn't abusive or threatening at all. The sticker is aimed at Classic minis being 'true' and the german minis being 'S***'. Offensive to a car, wow, this world is crazy.
And if anybody would class this sticker as racist, then fine I am racist. Yes, I am racist for saying that the BMW mini is, in my opinion, S***. So am I racist equally for thinking that Australian Wine is awful, or thinking my Foreign TV is rubbish??

There's a fine line between racism and just being plain wrong. Australian wine isn't all bad. Foreign TV isn't all rubbish, and BMW's mini was for the most part designed by hard working BRITSH Rover employees, and is for the most part built by british hard working ex rover employees, and mostly the one's sold in Europe are built in the BRITIAN, (although I understand that there is a plant in the USA ?) and brings in revenue to the UK which helps our balance of payments. Love it or hate it, just because the profit is creamed off by a German Company, it doesn't make it German. Is an astra built in Merseyside an American car, cause it's owned by General Motors, of a Lnadrover from solihul considered indian ?
If you've ever driven a BINI, you'd find it was a pretty okay car, fast in Cooper S form and adequate enough in ONE form. I don't think your sticker is racist, but if I owned a BMW mini I might be offended. In the same way that the sticker I had on my mk2 cavalier which said "I'd rather be dead than driving a picasso" could perhaps be considered offensive to sad middle aged women who know nothing about cars, and choose to buy a french heap on HP.

Personally I think the police perhaps could waste there time on other things. But maybe his wife drives a MINI ?

Oh come now. I can't believe that.

I've met 4. In my time

1) aged 17 just passed test, overtook an unmarked merseyside police drugs squad car, at 80 in a 40. gave me a serious talking to but no points and no fine.
2) My mate who was in the car was talking to the other undercover officer, and subsequently joined the police and is now in the drugs squad, and he still owns a mini - a 1380 clubman
3) The policeman who pulled me over after I tryed to keep up with his plain car on the A38 from redditch to going south. Explained where I went wrong, and left me alone with no points
4) The other mate who happens to be a Sergeant at Redditch . Alrite adam !!! Mind you I've still got the bruises from the clothes pegs.
