Dont get me wrong it looks VERY nice- but is that plenum not massively oversized and looks like it has a mega thick wall making it all much heavier?! Just thinking of more lag and taking up more space!

The plenum looks bigger than it is, it looks huge in the photo. Obviously it will add weight, but that will be offset by the weight difference of the aluminium head over the standard cast iron one.

sounds impresive its a nice piece of alluminium you got for the plenum. Im fabricating one for a bike im doing at the moment. Wish i could come across £100 billet crank.
What is the head like as it comes does it look like it will benifit from some reshaping cleaning up etc just wondered as i know its all cnc machined so the finish should be great.

The head is pretty well finished as it is, but I'm going to open the chambers up a bit as I need a lower compression & just tidy the ports a little.

Don't mean to sound like a wally but... what's the idea of the plenum, where does the filter go? is there much benefit over just sticking a big filter over the four ram pipes?

same as a plenum works on pretty much every car on the road.
Filter>turbo>pipework>intercooler>throttle body>plenum>ram pipes/inlets>head>valves>cylinder
on N/A cars your filter just goes on the end of the TB
