as some have said massa had the racing line meaning even if he had of let button through, button wouldve had to slow so much (relative to the mormal speed through that chicane) due to his accute entry angle massa wouldve gone straight back past.

i dislike ferrari as much as the next brit particularly alonso, massa may not have shown much sportsmanship, but gamemanship is what helps you win, and thats not against the rules.

a drive through isnt the penalty for gaining an advantage, giving the place back is! but ferrari played dirty again!!

16.3 The stewards may impose any one of the penalties below on any driver involved in an Incident :
a) A drive-through penalty. The driver must enter the pit lane and re-join the race without stopping.
b) A ten second time penalty. The driver must enter the pit lane, stop at his pit for at least ten seconds
and then re-join the race.
c) A time penalty.
d) A drop of any number of grid positions at the driver’s next Event.
e) A reprimand.
f) Exclusion from the results.
g) Suspension from the driver’s next Event.

And how did Ferrari play dirty? I didn't see their cars leave the track to get an advantage. Button should have lifted off and let Massa pass him when he was off the track, he wouldn't have got the penalty then and probably would have passed Massa during the pit stops.

Just checked the score for Massa, and its less this race compared to the last one, even though he placed higher!

maybe they have used last years points again not certain on that though

I didnt even know there was a penalty till just now haha, but from what i can remember hamilton just kept turning as he came out of the corner so he didnt actually make a manover, he just never stopped turning, welll thats as i remember it anyway but i may be wrong

Was a good race with teams trying different strategies. I bet Red Bull don't two stop again. Great drive by Weber from 18th on the grid, will more teams try running the prime at the start and keep the options until the end?
