Prediction for tommorow...

Pessimistic me: Hamilton will fall back to 5th in first corner & race will go ugly for him finishing 6th
Optimistic me: Hamilton will move up to 3rd in the first corner & pull out a flawless race finishing 1st
Realistic me: Hamilton will race his way to 3rd or 2nd...

What would be a perfect outcome? Rosberg's pace making him fall slowly back down the field, with the two redbulls crashing into each other OR having reliability problems forcing retirement with Hamilton coming 1st & Jenson 2nd.

why do people seem to dislike redbull and vettel in particular?
hes my favourite F1 driver by a country mile. he actually seems an approachable chap.

teams like redbull which are private teams and not finaced by manufacturers can only be good for F1, at least Ferrari aint sitting pretty anymore.

its not that i dont like Vettel, like you say he seems like a very approcable guy and really sound to talk to, and he is a blummin good driver, but he isn't British so i am not going to support him as i dont want a non British guy to win, so the best for me would be Button, De Resta then Hamilton, im not personally a big fan of hamilton but he is British so you have to want him to do well.

the race was awesome today, its the reason i didnt bother going to himley.
with the tyre how they are it would appear they are far more important than the starting position unless you can do a Vettel and get pole with one lap saving tyres.

You can hardly blame the engineers, if Massa hadn't been in the way he would have already got a lap in and been fine, things like this happen, championships are won on your bad days so aslong as he makes the most of it he will be fine

The engineers told him he would be better off doing one lap at the end of Q3..

Hamilton was confident he could get a good time with 1 lap & so were the engineers

BUT the engineers completely forgot the fact someone could crash during Q3.

anyway the race -

Hamilton pulled a nice move on schumi..
Massa then failed at blocking hamilton - yet hamilton got penalised
Maldonado then failed at blocking hamilton - hamilton penalise
A weekend the forget indeed

Jenson got a bit unlucky regarding the safety car though he drove a good race.

hamilton was rightly punished, he was like a bumper car, just because your in a faster car you cant expect people just to let you pass, especially at monaco where its so hard to pass so speed isnt everything.

he wasnt passed maldonado at all, hence maldonado was clipped on the rear of his side pod and spun around.

that tunnel exit seems to be deadly.
it pains me to say but Alonso seems to be perking up a little.
