I hate them with a passion when they think they can walk onto someone's property and take what the deem scrap, 2 mongs in a ropey old Transit tipper were sniffing round the back of my van this morning, working at a local pub installing some CCTV, went to the van for some parts, had left the back doors open whilst I went round to the front of the van looking for some paperwork, heard the van pull up, thought nothing of it until I saw them staring at the shelf full of alarm, CCTV and mains cable and my ladders which I keep inside the van.

I made a point of closing the van and double locking it then asked, "can I help you?" The reply, "got any scrap cable you need rid of mate?" I told them we scrap the cable ourselves so no, they seemed to take offence to that then drove off muttering something and giving me a right dirty look.

Had a bunch of gypo's reverse their van down to our metal skip at work in broad daylight with all of us around. They started to load their van up when we locked them in by closing the gates. They charged it and rammed it down...

Police did sweet f-all.

i don't understand these people, did they forget everything their parents taught them?

My Dads just told me that his cousins garage was broken in to the other day.

They took everything aluminum (a bunch of alfa cylinder heads), gilbern brass fuel tank, a stainless steel mini roll cage, and even the brass tap off the waste oil tank (which luckily had just been emptied).

Bloody scum should all be shot.

should change the law so you can shoot the caravan utilising nomadic travellers (pure genious)

i would love to scare them off by screwing a silencer to a pistol and asking "can i help you gentlemen?"

we had a guy come to work who didnt mind being called pikey pete, who used to take the knackered motors off us and didnt seem to care that they had spent most of
the time down a well on landfill, and would also buy cable off us for descent money.

also had a scrap man round the corner from us who pretty much minded his own buisness and you could go take your scrap and drop it off on his drive and was a fairly pleasant bloke,
