nope i am still on 10's as the car was made and got a 10 inch speedo, 1275gt can go faster than 90 as we got my dads old clubby off the clock, so it can be done,i know what my car can do as i was there as my mate and girlfriend was in the car and can even say them self's what it said on the speedo, maybe yours doesn't go as fast as mine as every mini has different top speed.

What your speedo said and what you where actualy doing is a very different thing.

No one cars what the speedo says in the video, it doesn't mean a lot in a car that's probably around 30 years old now. So not accuarate.

My previous scamp engine in smokey was a 998 ,

sw5 cam
1.5 su carb with modded aau needle
freeflow exhaust manfold
ITG foam air filter
rolling roaded twice on two separate occasions getting 48 and 49 hp at the wheels respectively.
top speed on the level was 85 mph MAXIMUM my main problem being the fact that the scamp is built like a hollowed out lego brick........

so your saying everyones speedo is wrong then? mmmm don't think so.
and how you know that he anit cleaver? thats a bit rude dont you think,
i can assure you that him, his brother & his dad are very very cleaver when it comes down to minis, soo.

just because your mini says 110mph on the speedo doesnt mean it can do it!! Some of you people need to open your eyes, do you really think a 20-30 year old car with a 998cc engine and a air filter will do anywhere between 90-110mph. If you can defy the laws of physics please tell me how?

my engine is not 30 years old as if it was it engine when it was made would have been a 1100, my be the speedo is out but that still means my is faster than most, you can say that but i dont get out a check wind and everything as i wernt said and the road was empty so thought i would floor it and thats what my speedo said, end of realli, i dont care what your cars can and cant do i know what mine can and its faster than most 998 as its beats my mates and my mate 1275gt clubby, and the engine is from my brothers mini mayfair, also raced a punto who is my mate and he can do 90 and i was going faster than him.

Well, like said before, you're wrong. Speedos arent and never will be 100% accurate.
