because, its a mini. You have one tatoo'd on your arm.

If you have a mint car you'd be scared to leave it anywhere and really protective. Minis might be **** but its where your passion lies. And im assuming they are alot more fun to drive than metros.

Having a fun, tatty mini is right laugh. But hey if you want to spend 1k on a metro its up to you.

I am with mini_mad69. It's great that you are enjoying your current car, but why look at other cars when you have such a passion for Mini's? There is nothing wrong with getting a runner / driver project Mini and slowly fixing it up... for all intensive purposes, that is what you are doing with your Rover.

But I can't afford to spend 1600 on a Mini to use as my first car (the price of a decent one, in fairness, that will pass its MOT the next time round). This Metro costed me 350 and I've spent a bit on it in fairness, but all in if I'd bought a Mini for 350 plus what I'd spent it'd still be needing welding left right and center... and then it'll still be a Mini... so it'll just be deteriorating as I use it daily

I'm at college now too so doing even less hours at work so I'm even more skint, my parents aren't in a financial situation to help me out at all, tro is just a cheapER way of me getting on the road

there will be a mini in the not too distant future for sure, but it definitely wont be road legal
