So let me get this straight, I pay £300 might even go for £400, then I have to wait 3 years before I make a profit on the tax I wont have to pay :P

It's later than that. It's got the big hole for the fan instead of a grille cut out on the inner wing.

I think that only came in with SPi and MPi.

MPi doesn't have a hole in the inner wing, since the rad is at the front. So it's older than '96 at least

would of been more funny if they put a load of rust dust on the floor and said here's the remains, come and collect your mini with a dust pan and brush

Right you are! Don't know how I overlooked that one!

Betwen '91 and '96 I'd say. I'm pretty sure '91 was the start of the SPi era.

Does someone want to report the listing to ebay and link this thread? I'm sure eBay would be interested to know that the shell doesn't belong with the registration.

91 I think was the start for just cooper SPIs but there were still some 1275 carb'd minis like the sprite
(we're such geeks)

I wonder if thse 1275 carb Minis from that year have a circular cut out or the old style opening in the inner wing?

I pride myself on being a geek!

I have reported it, and think everyone else on here should as well, only takes 2 minutes, and will hopefully help stamp out people ringing mini's.
