I think mines going along the same route as you now... mines not going to be ready when i want it to be :proud:
So looks like we still might have our battle on :)

Wheels are looking ace, still makes me wonder if mine can be done.. :(

yeah mate, deadlines are a waste of time, you just have to say well its done when its done.

i would find out about your wheels would look mental, failing that go for those new force rims that fit over 8.4" brakes. i gotta say id rather you than me about cutting down those arches, clear carbon is a bugger to cut as the laquer flakes i had it a tiny bit when i trimmed my boot floor.

Ahh nuts, I was hoping it would be a fairly easy job to cut...
The way I was thinking was, mark out where I want to cut with a Scribe, then either go very slowly with a junior hacksaw blade along the line, or a sharp Stanley knife... I'd best find out if I can get my wheels done first...

and yep, Deadlines on these type of cars, are a waste of time lol

a juniuor hacksaw would just shread the edge i think. if i was going to do it i would proberly scribe the line, cut a bit away from this and then sand back the rest of the way. whatever wear a mask, that stuff is bad.

Can't just do a hell of a lot of sanding? following the direction of edges?

Ive heard it recommended that you soak the tape in water before applying it to stop the dust etc coming off and covering you.
I guess its abit late to say that now though :)

right time for an update i guess, at least time to update that i wont be updating.

i have decided that i will not be putting up any more pictures as there have been people using them and i dont want them and my ideas being copied.

i have been working on the car in the last few weeks and its relly starting to come together with the rear valance being welded on and the sills too, i have just started sorting out the scuttle and hope to get these and the a panles on in the next week or so.

i havent got my boot from curley yet but im ready to get that on when it arrives, and the front end will go on once the a panles are on, in sort i want to get the body work finsihed in the next 6 weeks ready for............
