dan your right, maybe you should just give me your engine to put in my car, ive got an old shot 998 i will swap it for

its good to get some stuff done again finally!
i want it ready for its media blast asap.
tomorrow i will:
weld on the subframe tower brace plates, seam weld the frame and do some cut outs on it.
grind back and finish the rear arches
weld up the holes for the old roll cage that i drilled.
then its just the frount bulkhead and go rounf the car and make sure everything is ground back and tidy.

Andy I think I forgot to mention,
SC have a supercharged K1100 under development.![]()
none of that messing with exhaust parts and oil lines!
as your not looking for silly boost could be a great option.
also here's an interesting link if you've not seen it...

Moorspeed have a supercharged K1100 in their showroom already......

I'm damn sure that its possible to sling the charger where the alternator would normally be or maybe put the charger over the back of the engine above the exhaust manifold in a similar position to a vMax charger, maybe the charger would sit higher and maybe the bonet would need to have the rear raised to clear it but i'd far rather do that and have the ability to add an intercooler than have that lump poking out the grille!

I would, it'll be more fun, and easier to rebuild...

Remember that the loadings on the bearings go up with a square rule as the revs rise, not to mention piston speeds, cam nose loadings ect.
I know Andy'll do what he wants in the end. I'm just playing devils advocate and giving him some ideas LOL.
