...when you get mocked for driving anything else.

...after you've been called by it's name so often you even answer to it ... even though it's a male name ... and you don't get a complex

...when the spare room in your house is so full of mini parts it's named the mini's room.

...the first thing you look for in a house is where you'd keep the mini.

You know your a mini owner when nearly every child in your class buys you a toy mini/mini model at Christmas and the end of the school term before the 6 weeks holiday. My desk used to be full of them!

Thats my favorate so far. lol.

...when you feel sorry for minis in scrap yards.
...when you say thank you to your mini for getting you to your destination in time and trouble free.
...when you say thank you at the end of a journey and the passenger says "thats ok" and you reply "i wasnt talking to you".
...when you plan your week around what needs doing to the mini.
...when you wonder what is wrong with her this time and enjoy sorting the problem.
...when you take bits apart and service and clean them for no apparent reason.
...when you wave at another mini owner and get goose bumps all the way to you toes.
...when you see another mini owner with hazards you stop and help.
...when you see a mini on the road when your in a modern car and you wave anyway.
...when your friends and familly see a mini on TV they shout "theres a mini on the TV!" and you rush to see it.

These are just a few that i can think of.
They are brilliant and i dont think im ever going to be able to tear my self apart from them.

When you shout 'go mini *melonsing* go' while trying to get up big hills. Then when you get to the top you go 'good mini' and tap the steering wheel.
Funny enough I went back to college today after half term the first thing everyone ones said was 'hows the mini'

when your materials and manufacturing lecturer at uni talks about pitfalls in manufacturing techniques and corrosion with steel, and is looking at you shaking his head while he is saying it, and when talking about the "old" ways of manufacturing, will finish the sentence with "just like your mini"

and your motorsport technology lecturer is talking about how 4 stroke engines dont use oil, and ends that sentence with, unless its a mini! again, looking at you!

Is it ok to wave at mini owners when walking along. will they know you drive one?

Parking other (more expensive) cars in the way to block your car in at night, just to keep it safe...
And im guilty of opening the window and booting it through any and every tunnel, even in artic weather...
Ive even taken to tapping on the roof while driving and saying well done at the end of a long journey
