The Police need to be able to react properly instead of having their hands tied.
The Police have their own fire arms teams and they also have the manpower from surrounding areas who will have some training in Riot Control.
Don't get me wrong I would like to be down there lending a hand but we would still be acting with hands tied.
No business small or large deserves to be burnt to the ground, more so because some of the structures are landmarks etc.
Mindless thugs jumping on any excuse to attack/destroy/steal what they want, all under the pretence of protesting.

What are you on about? You don't care that Ladbrokes in clapham has been looted and destroyed? People are employed there.I do. Why should they be treated any different?Who cares about the big corporations?
Thug on the telly just now stated, "I am getting my taxes back" by stealing from Curry's.. It beggars belief how thick people are.
Oh believe me Big corporations can be more powerfull then the goverment... Look at mr.capitalist America.
I can only assume it's about jealousy of the success of these businesses and those who can be bothered to work.

Why send the Army in, what would that achieve just now.

I agree with all of this, plus you do get the feeling the media fuels the fire!

When I am stressed, I go for a run, or see my GP. Next time I might burn down my neighbours house, that will help.when you cut back on benifits at a time when jobs are hard to find so the poor are stressed and then cut back on police so they are stressed and over worked some one is bound to break,
its just bomb waiting to go off

Never mind I'm sure all the stuff they've stolen will help ease their suffering, poor mites.
