I hate 6x9's, to me it just doesn't seem right to have a non round speaker, its just wrong, I cant really have any front speakers as i have no where to put them, so it is going to have to be a set of 6.5 that i already have and my sub that will be cappable of much more than i will ever want.No go on rear speakers, plays with the staging of the sound, no need for rear fills, save the money for those rear speakers and get some better fronts, and if u really want rear fills then I would amp the front speakers and run the rears off the deck,
Single sub and some powered 5.25 or 6.5's comps is the way to go, more power you push on the sub, a good amount for the tops will need also, a little overpowered will give some nice headroom and then tune the tops so that the sound from them doesn't over do the sub output, for a nice balance in mid/tops to bass output.
I'm not a fan of 6x9's period

I've just seen this!
I don't think it was aimed at you dolly,if you read the thread back it's others that clearly think they know better. You are listening and acting...

It was just the way it has been worded, at times it seemed like it was aimed at me

i found out it was the boot floor rattling on the subframe so a peice of wood wedged in there and it was fine

No no, dont worry Dolly, not aimed at anyone in particular really, especially not you - You made it clear that you understood everything, it wasn't necessaries just this thread either - I've seen in quite a few threads now, people ASKING and then IGNORING advice from people who know a LOT better! Not you, as yours was nothing to do with positioning or anything, you only asked how to stop a rattle. You accepted and presumably followed the advice given, just the others, as I said, not just in this thread, in many others.
