This really is one of those situations where we are dammed if we do and dammed if we don't. Not so long ago the forum was in up-roar over the inclusion of Binis, any thread with even the slightest reference was jumped on and set alight.

After all this hoo-hah the outcome was that this forum is for the classic mini, I really don't want to go back there!!

We just can't please everyone all the time, this is such a situation. Clubs being selective about what cars go on their stand isn't uncommon, cars are chosen that best represent the club.

In this instance, I'm sorry if this decision has offended you Chris, I'd like to think that you could see at least part of our point of view and also the position that we are in.

In the meantime can we draw a line under this and look forward to Stanford hall show.

Sean, i do understand what you are saying.

If someone would kindly explain why i had a short ban for saying bini's should not be a part of this forum, or should have their own section (ie not mix them), and now i want to include them in the forum, it has all of a sudden become anti bini.

No, its hasn't become anti-bini, far from it. What has happened is that we took on board our members comments and acted on them.

I am certainly not anti bini, I can't explain about your ban as I wasn't involved. What I can say is that it obviously worked as you're now cured of your anti bini feelings!!

Times change and people change, its a step forward to being even able to discuss having a Bini on a TMF stand!!

Lmao, you can hardly claim the forum changed my view, i already had the dealer looking for a car for me before the ban...

And there is only one person who has a view in every single MINI related topic. ME!.

Possibly a daft question, but I've never been to Stanford Hall show before. I'm assuming the stand is outside?

If so, I'm gonna bring a frying pan, a little gas stove, some bacon and some baps, isn't it! :D

Oooh, maybe even some pancake mix! lol

I would just like the make a little point to prove you wrong about your opinions of the MINI clubs/ forums.

http://www.totalmini...html#post517160

That kinda makes you look bad now.
