Where we live my next door neighbor had a steel bath in his garden. The travelers came down to ask if they could take the bath . He said no he weighs in his own scrap . So they said give it or we will make your life hell , The night afterwards he put the bath right at the front of his house , with a mini digger bucket wedged into it . has hah ahha wont be teking that bath any time soon

Your only ten mins from me, i'm just trying to think where the nearest settlement is.

There have been many good suggestions, and a few terrible ones.

If the OP doesn't atleast putt a car cover over it, then he's asking for trouble.
It's a shame that he has to be worried about it all though.

Even a few long ass chains and locks wrapped over will help, until you get them just use some rope, I know its not foolproof but lets face it, no one will lift a shell with a car cover on it onto a truck especially if they are trying to disguise themselves as being 'legit' as this will cause way too much attraction as its not normal, and if they want to be away quick they won't bother in the first place as its alot of hassle

I don't want to sound like I'm trying to get you paranoid here, I'm not, I'm just saying there is still things you can do, I know its a PITA and a shame you have to do this but end of the day this is the current times no matter where you are so chin up

Get a car cover for it. Then inside the car put up some signs in the windows saying "STOLEN, POLICE STOP THIS VEHICLE" Chances are it might scare them off ;)

Thanks for you advice but I don't really want my neighbours to see 'Police stolen' on my car the gypsies have seen the car before
