if you go to the land registry office you can tell them the rough area and they will bring it up on a map, you can then show them the exact area and if the land is regested sp they will tell you who owns it if you have a good reason to know.

Am I the only one that thinks the fact anyone can apply for a V5 on a car they dont own is pretty scarey? Theres some odd laws or lack of - we had a case a few years ago where someone applied for planning permission on a bit of our land - all perfectly legal to do
Plus surely data protection means you'd have to have a pretty good reason for wanting to know who owns a piece of land before they hand out someones contact details

Last time I did a search I did it online and it cost less that a tenner.

It is.... that dump you did at 6:05pm this evening was awful! Your drain insurance cover has now gone up due to the risk you pose!
