No they are not. Do not use them they will kill you or someone else. Your insurance company won't think they're just as good either. The load the suspension puts on them is massive as said above.

Get some new ones and then get someone else to do all the work on your car from now on.

Initially I was just going to ask why you had removed the subframe in order to do this but now I have so many more questions. I would really consider getting someone else to re-fit the subframe if I were you.

You have to be really accurate when cutting trumpets if you want the car to sit on the road level and be safe from now on.

Dan, while your on here, can you confirm I got the ratios right on how much to cut off each trumpet? I had a search and couldn't find anything even though I know its been stated many times! :erm:

throw those old trumpets away & buy a pair of hi-lo's instead , that way you can set up the ride height a needed...

Well if it were me id be building a car to get me to the finish line and not doing stupid things like bodging the suspention which is a sure way of not finishing the race :w00t:
