Ok guys just a small update,
seems i have taken delivery of a strange package ?
Wondered what it was myself when it arrived.
£24.99 off ebay 2nd hand but i think considering the brand new ones are over 30 quid per side BARGIN (Thank you ebay!)
Not got anything done on mini recently due to bad weather & not sure i will be making many updates in the next couple of months.
Thanks
regards

They look like the estate/van tail lights not the mk1 lights.

So now i have started on the dash/wiring loom !!!!! & what a nightmare + i still havent finished stripping and marking it all.
Also the real nightmare is yet to come as over a 20+ year period, rats and presumably other mice like animals have found there way into the car and chewed through alot of wires.
Aswell as the seats (all the foam & rat droppings i hoovered up killed the hoover ,SORRY MUM).
Any help with how to tackle the chewed wires is much appreciated POSSIBLE re-trace the ends under the bonnet?
Thanks

You could just replace the whole loom? With age and with the mice the wiring in places could be brittle. Just a thought....

Its going to be a custom loom on a rally car I'm afraid!
Case of replacing what's broken and checking everything else!

and as for the wires i found the best way was to do one by one takes a long time but you wont get anything mixed up

Hi matt , Thanks & yes one by one seems to be the best option but for now its all in a plastic bin bag staying out of sight/out of mind.
Just tried loging in to photo bucket but forgot all my login details & it dosent recognise my e-mail address .
Will create new photo account and start uploading soon.
